About Me

I’m a chemist with more than 18 years of combined academic and industrial experience, supporting chemistry-related projects from formulation and analytical method development through to regulatory documentation. After completing my Diplomchemiker degree at the University of Stuttgart and a research career covering organophosphorus chemistry, ionic liquids, and tribology, I moved into industrial product development at a Vienna-based manufacturer of cleaning products for the food and beverage industry. There I lead innovation projects, manage analytical method development, and maintain the company’s CLP and regulatory documentation system.
I now offer my expertise on a self-employed basis for project coordination and project support tasks — particularly in regulatory and compliance work, analytical method development, and applied chemistry projects.
What sets me apart
Bridge between research and industry.
I’ve worked at the bench in fundamental research, coordinated multi-partner applied research projects, and developed commercial products. I translate fluently between these worlds.
Track record in funded research.
Project lead and contributor on EU- and Austrian-funded programmes, including the Marie-Curie ITN Minilubes, the FFG ASAP project Function@Space (which I coordinated end to end), and MINIONS.
Structured project work.
IPMA-trained in project management, including team leadership, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
Regulatory know-how.
Active hands-on maintenance of GHS classification, CLP labelling, Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and Poison Centre Notification (PCN) for an EU-based chemical manufacturer.
Analytical depth.
Method development, validation, and troubleshooting across HPLC, HPLC-MS, high-resolution MS, GC-MS, ion chromatography, NMR, FTIR, and UV-Vis.
Interdisciplinary instinct.
I work comfortably in mixed teams of chemists, engineers, regulatory specialists, and customers — and I genuinely enjoy the complexity that comes with it.
